Daryl Johnson appointed as non-executive director

Bendigo and Adelaide Bank Limited (ASX:BEN) is pleased to announce the appointment of Daryl Johnson as a non-executive director, effective September 30 2024.

Daryl has over 40 years’ banking and finance experience in Australia, Asia and New Zealand.

Daryl's most recent executive role was CEO of Rabobank New Zealand. Prior to that Daryl was an executive at NAB where he was CEO of Asia, Executive General Manager of NAB Business and General Manager of Corporate Banking.

Daryl was previously a non-executive director of Beyond Bank Australia, Cuscal and CG Spectrum Institute and an advisory committee member to Agrifunder, a specialist provider of working capital funding to the agricultural sector.

Daryl holds an MBA from Murdoch University and a Bachelor of Business in Finance and Economics from Curtin University. Daryl is based in Melbourne, Victoria.

Daryl will seek election at the Annual General Meeting on 7 November 2024.

Bendigo and Adelaide Bank Chair Vicki Carter welcomed Mr Johnson to the Board, highlighting his proven ability to drive growth and innovation.
